Admittance and registration
ACTIVE / NON ACTIVE PARTICIPANT
ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS: closed number, 16 spots. Active participants have to apply for the entire Academy.
NON-ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS: may be admitted without limitations.
ADMISSION RULES AND APPLICATION
Title for the application is preferable:
• University school of music or Conservatory degree: students with a high level of instruction, although not yet graduated, may be admitted upon a specific letter of presentation issued by a distinguished Teacher.
• Professional Organists with experience, upon submitting a detailed CV, may be admitted.
Applications shall be sent using the registration form, available here starting December 1st, 2025:

The admittance is approved by a Commission of the Academy Teachers: a confirmation of admittance will be sent within 10 days to the Applicant by e-mail, and is validated by the payment of the admission fee.
Applications may be submitted starting December 1st, 2025, and will be accepted until May 30th.
Each active participant is expected to prepare pieces from the repertoire list in accordance with the instructions.
APPLICATION FEE
ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS: € 350,00 (inclusive of the tuition materials, accident insurance for the duration of the Academy, certificate of attendance, trip Roma-L’Aquila and trip L’Aquila-Smarano) – to be paid ONLY AFTER the notification of admittance; appropriate instructions will be provided in due time!
Tuition is free: 25/30 hours of coaching and individual practising are granted. The Instrument list is available on a dedicated page on www.smaranoacademy.com/instruments
NON-ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS: € 250,00 (inclusive of the tuition materials, accident insurance for the duration of the Academy, certificate of attendance, trip Roma-L’Aquila and trip L’Aquila-Smarano)
Practising instruments may be available to a limited extent.
Reimbursement will be granted against justification properly supported.
